R.E.A.P. – Redeem Enrichment Academic Place’s Mission

We Rescue, Redeem and Restore Veterans

Our goal is to provide temporary housing, empowerment through programs and strategic solutions, spiritual guidance, PTSD and family counseling.

LESS THAN 50 PERCENT OF RETURNING VETERANS IN NEED RECEIVE MENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE

  • While consistent efforts are being made across our nation to end veteran’s homelessness, the reality is many veterans are still facing this challenge.
  • According to (PIT) Point-in-time count led annually by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to assess homelessness, 37,085 veterans experienced homelessness in January 2019 and there has been no change to those numbers in 2020.
  • These numbers above show that we still have a lot of work to do in solving the problem of providing safe housing for veterans and is therefore one of the reasons R.E.A.P. is working to help eliminate this issue.

The numbers above show that we still have a lot of work to do in solving the problems veterans face every day of their lives including finding safe housing and treatment for mental health issues.

R.E.A.P. was founded to help eliminate these ongoing challenges veterans face. We are working arduously to raise awareness as well as to seek partnerships with individuals and organizations who will commit to give towards the future home of Redeem Enrichment Academic Place where veterans will receive the housing and care they need.

The core value of R.E.A.P. is based on the principles of love and compassion for our veterans. Together these components will promote positive changes in the lives and behaviors of the Veteran and empower them to re-integrate back into society; this will yield enhanced public safety and empower them to have a sustainable income.

At R.E.A.P. our program will be a model for other programs locally and nationally.

These men & women honorably serve our great country well, now it’s our turn to serve them.
