Larry D. Mannings Sr.

R.E.A.P.’s CEO and founder Larry D. Mannings Sr. has a strong military background. He served in combat in Vietnam as paratrooper with the famed 101st Airborne Division & was awarded the Purple Heart. He draws a lot of strength, courage, fortitude and persistence from his military experience and more importantly from his relationship with God. He is very familiar with the traumas that war can bring about as he has experienced them firsthand. This was therefore the catalyst for his drive to aid for veterans who are faced with challenges. Not only does he possess a servant’s heart, but he is also naturally compassionate and  sensitive to our veterans who have served us well in the military. Mr. Mannings feels strongly that anyone who is a part of R.E.A.P. must first have that same compassion for veterans.

Along with his military career,  Mr. Mannings has worked for over 25years as a Radio Television Engineer with the Chicago Board of Education. He has produced award winning T.V. programs some of which has been aired on  BET (Black Entertainment Network).

He has always recognized the importance of good leadership and mentorship. To that end, he has been personally mentored by four great men including Pastor Bill Winston of Living Word Christian Center, Guy Rankin former CEO of Harris County Housing Authority, Greg Campbell CEO of one the largest Animation Simulation Companies in the nation. Mr. Campbell has been his mentor from (VEP) Veteran Entrepreneur Program, Oklahoma Stale University. VEP is a program funded by the private sector, that trains disabled Veterans and help them launch their own businesses.  Prophet Nathaniel Nwobu AMF School of Intercessory Training has also mentored Mr. Mannings and has been a reservoir of inspiration for him. Mr. Mannings  plans on using all the skills and knowledge he has acquired thus far coupled with modern technology to accomplish this assignment to serve veterans.
